We found a couple of really cool new investigators this week! They were already working on the papers to get married before we even got there! She had listened to the missionaries before and loved what she heard, but she never got baptized because she wanted it to be a family thing. I guess the missionaries got tired of trying or something but they dropped her and we refound her. We set up an appointment with her but she wasn’t there when we got there, but her husband was outside so we talked to him for about a half an hour and gained his confidence, and then she showed up and let us in and we talked with the whole family. Then later in the week we had a lesson just with him. And both times the Spirit was super strong. And it was cool to see the change in him in just those couple of days. When we first met him he was very closed and didn’t seem like he wanted much to do with us, but at the end of the second lesson with him, his whole demeanor had changed! It was super cool!
Dear Family and Friends,
This week has been a good week! Hard, but good!
We also built a roof this week! That was fun! I now know how to build almost every part of the exterior part of the house, or atleast have a little bit of experience in it! The big bad wolf won’t be able to blow my house down! Hopefully:)
Also, our miracle lunch. We didn’t have lunch one day, so we decided to make mashed potatoes, gravy, and milanesa. And everything went wrong. First off the potato peeler didn’t work. Then the gravy recipe was bad and we had to adjust it (it looked like pancakes for a little bit there) and then the bread was moldy so we couldn’t make bread crumbs with it. But we worked with what we had and it turned out great! Like so good!
Have a fantastic week! I love you all!
