Dear Family and Friends!
This week has been pretty good. The work has gone pretty good. On Thursday, Rio Turbio and 28 de Noviembre came up for zone meeting and then we did a tsunami in my area afterwards and two baptisimal dates were put! That was way cool! We weren’t able to find either of them afterward though, but we’ll definitely be trying hard to this week. We also found several possible investigators that we’ll be trying to find as the week goes on.
The best part of the week though was that Cristian, our investigator that already had two attendances and who almost made it to his baptismal date, but his work got in the way and he couldn’t come to church or meet with us, came back to church on Sunday! So he now has all the attendances he needs, now we just need to work with him to find the time to finish the lessons and to get baptized! We’re so close! When he found out that he didn’t make it to his original date, he was so sad because he thought that he wouldn’t be able to get baptized because of it! But we reassured him that it would be all right, and that he would still be able to get baptized, and that made him super happy! In the testimony meeting, he got up and bore his testimony that although he had had a lot of trials these past couple of weeks, that Jesus had helped him and that he was so grateful for it! It’s so cool to see what he has sacrificed to come to the church! He got kicked out of his house a couple of weeks ago, and then this last week his work wouldn’t let him come to church, so he decided to find a different work!
Other than that, the work continues here! It’s getting really hot though, I’m wanting to die in this 70° weather! But it’s nice to wear short sleeves again! Maybe my arms will not be so white anymore:)
I hope you all have a fantastic week!
¡Les quiero un monton!
